We are a prestigious American Style Cheerleading gym based in Newcastle and Silverwater, NSW, Australia. We pride ourselves on being a cost effective gym that caters for every level of cheerleading for anyone who is interested in this sport that we love so much. Our coaches are dedicated to their athletes on every level and form special bonds and relationships with them as we go from season to season.

Fresh home from the 2022 Cheerleading World Championships ECA came home with Bronze in the International Open Small Coed level 5 division. Making us the only Gym in NSW and the 3rd Gym in Australia to win a Globe and get on the podium at the World Cheerleading Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando Florida, United States of America. 

Cheerleading has multiple elements: Stunting, Tumbling, Baskets, Pyramids, Jumps and Dancing- all of which we can teach to the highest level.

East Coast Allstars has been running since 2008. Starting at a public park, then a school hall before setting up their own gym in a warehouse in Gateshead. Within 4 years they out grew that venue and had to move to a larger gym also in Gateshead that has 1 x 9 run sprung floor, 1 x 9 run hard floor, a tumble track with crash mat, an air track  and mutliple other mats. It also has an office, store room and reception area. It's the only gym in Australia that has an owner with a World Championship, An International Cheer Union Gold medal representing Team USA & Silver medal representing Team Australia

The Silverwater location has 1 x 9 run sprung floor, tumble track, air track, mats and more.

All of our coaches are USASF/IASF Cheerleading accredited and have NSW Working with Children Checks.

East Coast Allstars have been State and National Champions and State and National Grand Champions every year since they started in 2008. The have competed at the World Championships in Florida in 2011, 2013 and 2015, making it through to the finals all 3 times against as many as 96 other teams. They have also represented Team Australia at the World Championships as both athletes and coaches coming away with 2 silver medals. East Coast Allstars' athletes also hold the Guiness World Record for the highest basket toss.
